EXCURSION OPTIONS IN PHILADELPHIA

On Wednesday, February 26th, US HUPO will offer several excursion options to take place after the last event of the day. This is a chance for participants to explore Philadelphia and see what the city has to offer. Reserve your spot for excursions during the registration process. All fees will be due at the time of registration. More information about individual excursions is listed below.

  • After logging in you will have the option to add any of the optional additional conference items to your registration

  • Make your selection and continue onto the payment page. Payment must be received to hold your spot in the group


Option 1:
Flavors Of Philly | $50 | 2.5 Hours | Walking Tour

Join us on a culinary journey through Philadelphia, where you'll stop at five popular local eateries to savor iconic Philly flavors, including the famous cheesesteaks. Along the way, enjoy sightseeing, explore the city's rich history, and admire highlights of Philadelphia's architecture. The tour provides enough food to make for a satisfying lunch. The tour concludes just 6 blocks (an 11-minute walk) from the starting point. Please note, this is a winter tour, so dress warmly!

 

 

 

Option 2:

Philadelphia Sight Seeing Tour | $45 | 1.5 Hours | Bus Tour

Live-guided tour begins by picking up guests from Stop #5 and returns them to the same location. Enjoy the ideal blend of expert commentary and convenient transportation, offering a truly local experience of Philadelphia. As you ride aboard an open-top double-decker bus, you'll hear all about the city's rich history and vibrant culture.

 

Option 3:

Revolution and Founding Fathers | $35 | 2 Hours | Walking Tour

This tour takes you to key historic sites such as The Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the homes of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, and locations tied to Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, Patrick Henry, Paul Revere, and many more. It's the perfect introductory tour of 1776, offering an efficient, in-depth, and substantive way to start any visit to revolutionary Philadelphia. Please note, this is a walking tour in winter, so dress warmly.
